Adult, Adolescent & Family Psychotherapy

Frustration with relationships; having problems with your teens and worried about their future; or just wanting to enjoy life more fully and understand yourself better.

These are the sorts of things that bring people to therapy. Working with a therapist you connect well with has been shown to be key to reaching your goals. But, finding the right therapist is challenging with so many therapists to choose from.

I'm told I am a great listener and have a knack for quickly identifying the key issues brought to me. I'm also very empathic, that is I "get it" (how it feels for you) even if I haven't experienced the exact same situation myself.

Also, my focus has been on learning as much as I can about the intricacies of the mind. I completed a two year additional training at the San Diego Psychoanalytic Society and Institute in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. This in-depth, six trimester program goes well beyond the basic requirements for getting a MFT license. See more on this in About.

I can provide a safe place to unload and work on a new understanding of yourself and your life. I work collaboratively with you to understand the underlying issues often hidden from ourselves, that keep us stuck in unhealthy patterns. My approach is respectful, caring, and supportive.

You will start to see your life in a new light and become curious about yourself in place of being self-judging.
